March Uganda Prayer & Praise

Please hold her in your prayers
Pauline just completed her Senior 4 exams in November. She was very sick with a migraine when she took the exam. Although she passed, the Ministry of Education called for a hearing, claiming she had falsified the test documents, when in fact she was so sick that she tore the paper and pulled a string off her dress to sew it together, in order to complete the exam.
It was time to start the new year, and Pauline didn't show up for school. Osborn contacted her mother and found she had been taken to live with her grandmother because she was so sick. He went and found her, and took her to the hearing, where they could see she was so sick, and withdrew the complaint and reinstated her certificate. He then took her to Dr. Abraham. They gave her an MRI and have discovered a brain tumor.
Pauline's mother has no money to pay the medical bills she has already incurred from the hospital and testing. She called Osborn, asking him if he can help her get her daughter home, so it won't continue to cost more, as she waits for the Lord to take her home. We are praying for a miracle. We have been given $1,000 towards her medical bills already. Surgery would be about $15,000. If you would like to donate, you may donate through the website: gsmuganda.org
We have a team of 10 traveling to Uganda today. The travelers from Texas and Montana are already on their way. The rest of us leave this afternoon and we will all meet in Amsterdam. Please hold us in your prayers. Pauline was sponsored to school by one of our team members, when he saw how hard it was for her to walk to school each day. She has had Cerebral Palsy since she was born, and he gave her the opportunity to live at the school so she didn't have to struggle so hard to get there. She has fought HARD for this gift of education that she has been given. And she is fighting hard now.
We will have an opportunity to see Pauline while we are there. God is good. All the time. In good times and in hard.
