Kids are the church of today.
Children are at the core of God’s heart. We identify our role as they develop a firm foundation of faith for their future as devoted followers of Christ.
By creating a safe space for kids to engage with our “big church” service, we incorporate them into how community worship is done. This intergenerational approach tells them that this is a place for them too!
Ministering to Kids
Throughout the year, we create safe spaces for engagement with kids in Sherwood and the surrounding areas. Some of our most popular events are our Movie Nights and our Trunk or Treat.
Your child’s safety is a top concern for us. All workers with kids have gone through a background check and proper training. Our goal is to engage with kids of any age in a safe and warm environment.
A Service for Kids
After the worship time, our kids are dismissed to their personalized service. We have some time for play, some time for Bible study, some time for prayer, and more! Our kids leave with follow up questions you can talk through with them throughout the week, continuing their discipleship at home!
The Family Room
For families with young children, we invite you to stay fully in our service! We highly value our children in our service with us. We find that when our children worship alongside their parents, we model for them how to do worship corporately.
However, we also know that sometimes our children need some other types of engagement, and that’s OK! We provide our Family Room space, with a maximum age limit of 4, with our service live streaming, so you don’t miss a thing.
