Jesus calls you his Friend.

In a world that rushes past us, we believe that the deepest needs of our heart can only be met in Jesus.

Jesus isn’t just a historical figure or a distant God.

He’s personal.

He knows you, loves you, and wants to walk with you every step of your life.

The good news? He’s already made the first move.

What does it mean to know Jesus?

Knowing Jesus is about more than believing in him—it’s about living with him at our core. Jesus came to bring hope, love, and a new way of life. The Bible tells us:

  • God loves you. “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

  • We all need him. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

  • Jesus made a way for us. “But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

  • He offers new life. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

  • We have a choice. “Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.” John 3:18

Through his death and resurrection, Jesus has made it possible for you to be forgiven. You can live in freedom and and experience the fullness of life that God has for you.

How do I live the Jesus way?

We all experience brokenness in life—whether it’s pain, loss, or a sense that something is missing. That brokenness points us to our need for something greater. God designed us to live in perfect relationship with him, but sin—our choice to go our own way—broke that relationship and left us stuck in a world of pain and separation.

The good news is that God didn’t leave us in brokenness. He sent His Son, Jesus, to rescue us. Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to restore our relationship with God. Through him, we can experience forgiveness and a brand-new life, free from the weight of sin and brokenness.

You can start your journey back to God’s perfect design by:

  1. Turning from your brokenness and trusting Jesus as your Savior.

  2. Believing that Jesus died for you and rose again to give you new life.

  3. Following him and allowing God to help you grow into the person He created you to be.

You can pray this simple prayer as your first step:

"Jesus, I’m tired of the brokenness in my life. I believe you came to rescue me, and I trust you as my Savior. Please forgive me, change my heart, and help me follow You. Amen."

God’s love and design for your life are within reach—let today be the start of something new!

Your Next Steps

Here are three simple ways to build a deeper connection with God.

  1. Pray. This is your direct line of communication with God. Not only can you talk with him, but he will talk with you. Remember, he created you, loves you, and wants to spend time with you! We want to pray for you too, so you can submit a request at this link.

  2. Bible. The Bible is God’s words given to us as a gift, so we can understand his heart and character. While it wasn’t written to us, it was written FOR us and we will grow as we study scripture. Download the Bible App for your phone. You can also find our church’s Bible reading plan on this page.

  3. Gather. Meeting together with God’s people is an important part of our growth and foundation in understanding what it means to follow the way of Jesus. We would love to have you join us for Sunday services at 10:30 am. We also have groups that meet throughout the week that you can learn more about on our calendar.

If you prayed that prayer or want to know more about Jesus, we’d love to talk with you. Faith is a journey, and you don’t have to take it alone.
