A friend of ours…was struggling with serious life issues. He shared that he felt like he was in a small ship, lost at sea, and taking on water. He knew that it was only a matter of time before he sank and was no more. He was in a hopeless situation. But then these words of Paul came to life. He told me that in the midst of this storm, he remembered the conversations that we had in the past. He remembered that when we separated, he went away encouraged. He went away with a new perspective. As one who didn’t believe what I did, he went away with another piece of the puzzle that was missing. He told me that at that moment in the current situation, he knew what he needed to do. He knew who he needed to talk to. We were the lighthouse, shining brightly in the dark, bringing him home. For hours we talked about faith, hope, and love. The mystery of God became clear, and he knew he was loved. He found hope. Thank you for your prayers for not only EFM-Ireland, but to all the EFM workers both domestic and internationally.
