2024 Report: Willowbrook Food Pantry

Willowbrook Food Pantry assisted 2314 families with 10,647 people from January – December 2024.

• Willowbrook Food Pantry serves Sherwood, Tigard, Newberg, and the surrounding area to meet the needs of food insecurity for families.

• Willowbrook is operated by exceptional volunteers. We have 35 volunteers doing 200 plus hours per month. In 2025, we hope to continue to meet the hunger needs from our community.

• We are in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank, as well as 4 Churches, Target of Sherwood, several organizations e.g.: Sparrow Dental office, Pirates of Pinehurst and 2 Sherwood elementary schools. We are blessed with financial support from individuals and groups.

• Willowbrook is a shopping pantry. We are not a food distribution center, but we are a community food pantry. We know food insecurity will always be with us, especially in these uncertain times. No documentation or gender identity or immigration status would ever be necessary to receive food.

We are privileged to have SCFC, as a partner church, with a congregation who is giving, caring, hardworking and compassionate. Their substantial food drives, monthly ‘clean the pantry’ crew, Project Faith Promise, useful family Christmas gifts, the indispensable office printing and the financial support.
