Fear Not, Just Go
Scripture References: Luke 2:8-20
From Series: "Advent"
Advent starts four Sundays before Christmas and signifies a time of waiting as it helps us prepare for Christmas, the day we celebrate and honor the birth of Christ. Its purpose is to focus our heart and mind on the only preparation that we can make as Christians: seeking to be ready to receive the greatest gift, Jesus Christ. The tradition of lighting the Advent candles (symbolizing, hope, joy, love, and peace) and reading the Christmas Story from the Bible is a meaningful way to make our Lord Jesus the center of the holiday season. We hope the tradition will carry over to reading scripture together with your family after the Christmas season is over.
