An Unjust Execution

Countdown to the Resurrection (part 4) | Today we are going to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was hung upon a cross. He, being the only perfect person to ever live on this earth, taken to a place of execution because He was accused, tried and sentenced to death for the crimes of sedition (a state crime) and blasphemy (a religious crime). But, more importantly, He was the greatest sinner that has ever lived—from God’s point of view. There at Golgotha, we are going to examine the two groups of people (witnesses) gathered around the cross. The amazing thing about this scene is that 2,000 years later, we can still find the same kinds of personalities.
