We will consider everything from the healthy benefits of friendship and how friendship can positively impact—even change—our lives. In “Portrait of a Friend” we take a look at one of David’s true friends, Hushai, and discover some key things about what true friends do and who they are: he bore David’s burdens, he served David sacrificially, and he gave gifts (much needed gifts) to David, his true friend.
